Students in the skilled trades, welding program at Riverside Secondary School have been tempered by the generosity of the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Welding Foundation.

The class is a recipient of an $11,000 Weldsafe Grant which covers each student from head to toe with new, high-end safety equipment. The CWB Foundation is a not-for-profit organization 鈥渨orking with partners to support and sustain the need for skilled welding professionals in the workforce鈥�

35 high schools across the country are selected each year to receive this grant. Riverside is grateful to be one of them.
